1. Offline Operation & No Data Collection

• Completely Offline: My Phone operates entirely on your device without transmitting data over external networks.
• No Server Storage: We do not maintain any servers, databases, or analytics endpoints. No personal data, device identifiers, or usage logs are ever collected or uploaded.
• No Third-Party Trackers: The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or diagnostic telemetry tools.

2. Device Permissions & Usage

The app only requests optional permissions necessary to inspect hardware components and present diagnostics directly on your screen:

• Phone Permission Optional: Used strictly on-device to read and display your current SIM card and cellular network configuration.
• Location Permission Optional: Required by the Android OS solely to obtain and display your connected Wi-Fi network name (SSID) on screen. Your physical location is never tracked, stored, or processed.
• Microphone Permission Optional: Used solely within the Hardware Test module to verify microphone functionality. Audio is recorded temporarily for approximately 3 seconds to play back immediately for testing, after which it is discarded instantly and never saved to storage.

3. Report Generation & Sharing

When you use the device report feature, all report files are generated locally on your device. Reports or diagnostic results leave your device only if you deliberately tap the Share button and choose your preferred destination application (such as email or messaging apps).

4. Children’s Privacy

Because My Phone does not collect any personal information whatsoever, it does not knowingly collect or solicit any data from children of any age.

5. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
