Rocknroll built Remotify: Google & Android TV Remote as an app designed to provide remote-control and TV connectivity features. This Service is provided by Rocknroll and is intended for use as is.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and disclosed when you use Remotify: Google & Android TV Remote.

If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Information may be processed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

TV and Local Network Access

Remotify may use local network access to discover and communicate with compatible Google TV and Android TV devices.

For the remote-control functionality to work, your phone and compatible TV generally need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Information exchanged between the phone and TV is used to provide features such as:

• TV navigation and remote controls
• Volume control
• Text and number input
• App shortcut functionality
• TV device connection and pairing

Remotify does not control or access unrelated devices on your network beyond what is required to provide supported app functionality.

Photo Casting

If you choose to use the photo-casting feature, Remotify may access photos or media that you explicitly select for casting to a compatible TV.

Photos are used to provide the requested casting functionality. Remotify does not require access to your entire photo library solely to use the TV remote features.

You can choose whether to grant the app access to photos or media, subject to the permissions and controls provided by your device.

Third-Party Service Providers

Remotify may use third-party services to provide advertising, platform functionality, diagnostics, analytics, crash reporting, or other service-related features.

Depending on the services enabled in the current app build, these may include:
